We are called Shark77 Limited, and we are a licensed operator under the Gaming Control Act, of 1992, with a registered address located at Vault 14, Level 2, Valletta Waterfront, Floriana FRN 1914, Malta. In that capacity, we entered into an Operating agreement with iGaming Ontario (iGO), which authorized our company to offer Eligible iGames in the open and regulated internet gaming (iGaming) market in Ontario, conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario (iGO). In accordance with the Operating Agreement, we are going to collect and process your Personal Information on behalf of and as an agent for iGaming Ontario in a manner consistent with both the Operating agreement signed with the former and the applicable privacy laws, among which – FIPPA (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act) and Ontario Regulation 722/21 made under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario Act. iGaming Ontario is going to exercise exclusive and unfettered control over your personal information, maintained with us, and the manner in which we are going to utilize it, will not diverge from the mandate of iGO, clearly defined in the Operating Agreement.

IGaming Ontario (iGO) is working alongside the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to regulate Ontario’s online gaming market. The AGCO is the regulator for the province and the iGO oversees the operators and the online gaming services they provide. Its main responsibilities and priorities include responsible gambling, game integrity, preventing money laundering, preventing underage players from accessing the gaming market, and protecting players’ personal information. iGO’s responsibilities and priorities include also building a leading iGaming market in Ontario, protecting players, providing more choice in the market, ensuring players are protected, ensuring operators meet responsible gambling requirements, and overseeing anti-money laundering.

This Privacy Policy (“The Policy”) describes the collection, use, retention, sharing, and disposal of the Personal Information of the users and visitors of amazonslots.ca (“The Website”). 1.3. When is your Personal Information collected?
The categories of information in section 1.2. will be collected and processed only when we receive your consent, within the limits set by the latter. The collection will happen at different times and under different conditions, which can be summarized as follows:
– Personal Information collected during the account creation
You will be requested to provide the following categories of Personal Information during the account registration: (a) – (k); (n) – (o); (q); (s). (b) Several categories of information outlined in Section 1.2, which might contain your Personal Information, including (m)-(n); (q); (s); (t); (v); (w), would be collected automatically on the basis of your implied consent, which would be granted by you upon accepting the Terms and Conditions and agreeing to the processing of your Personal Information by Shark77 Limited and its affiliates, in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

The vendors employed possess extensive databases with individuals‘ Personal Information, which are processed solely within the context of performing our legal obligations.

4. Where is your Personal Data stored? 
We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely, in accordance with both this privacy policy and the provincial and federal privacy law provisions.

Your personal data is encrypted for both transfer and storage and is kept securely on cloud-based servers located in the EU run by Google Cloud Platform. Data in transit across open networks is encrypted using at minimum TLS 1.2. All data at rest is encrypted at the storage level using AES-256.

5. How long do we keep your Personal Information?
Your Personal Information will be kept so long as your account exists and/or as long as required by the applicable privacy laws and the Operating Agreement, signed between us and iGaming Ontario (iGO), but no longer than the period required by law.
Once you stop being our customer, we will keep your Personal Information for the minimum period of time required for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with the relevant legal and regulatory obligations. There are different factors that we take into consideration prior to determining the length of time for which we decide to retain different types of Personal Information. These include, for instance, regulatory, anti-money laundering obligations and taxation regulations. When we no longer have a valid legal reason to keep the data, we will delete the Personal Information in a secure manner as prescribed by the applicable privacy laws.

6. How do we ensure your Personal Information is collected, stored, and processed in a secure manner?
We have implemented robust security mechanisms, which correspond to the best standards and practices in order to ensure that your Personal Information will not be erased,  accessed, or processed in a manner that would infringe on your rights bestowed by the applicable laws and regulations. To that end, the Company:

7. What are your Privacy Rights?
7.1. Right to access means that you can access your Personal Information contained in a personal information bank in the custody or under our control.

7.3. The right to Correction/Rectification of your personal information under our custody. Correction/Rectification refers to correcting both inaccurate and incomplete Personal Information we hold about you.
7.4. The right to withdraw your consent, which enables us to process your Personal Information. However, this might result in the termination of our relationship, since it would not allow us to provide you with our services and/or prevent us from fulfilling our legal obligations.

8. Automated processing of Your Personal Information
8.1. Automated processing of Personal Information related to the prevention, early detection, and meaningful intervention when problem gambling is concerned:
Shark77 Limited is legally obliged as a result of the applicable laws and its license obligations to record and constantly assess the on-site behavior of its customers in order to detect players who are exposed to higher risks of developing problem gambling tendencies and/or exhibit such behavioral patterns that indicate existing gambling addictions. To that end, the Company is going to process data related to your Personal Information, Transactions and Usage of the website and Communications with company representatives.
Shark77 Limited employs an automatic problem gambling monitoring tool that constantly assesses the above-mentioned data and it classifies each customer in a particular problem gambling risk category. The classification is based on pre-defined rules and algorithms, however, the decisions as to how each case is approached are taken by trained employees of the Company.

8.2. Automated processing of Personal Information related to the prevention of money laundering and Financing of terrorism:
Shark77 Limited is obliged, in line with the applicable legislation and its license obligations, to conduct ongoing monitoring of all of its customers’ activities on amazonslots.ca in order to correctly assess the risk of Money-laundering and Terrorist financing risks it is exposed to as well as to correctly and detect in a timely manner unusual and/or suspicious transactions. Shark77 Limited has implemented a semi-automated Sports Risk Segmentation system, which automatically assigns individual risk ratings based on both Personal Information submitted during registration, Personal Information collected throughout the course of the business information, and the actual betting pattern of each player. The purpose behind the Sports Risk Segmentation system is to capture player behavior, which could potentially be interpreted as illegal or inconsistent with the established player profile. The Sports Risk Segmentation system operates on the basis of pre-defined rules and scenarios. When as a result of its operation potentially suspicious or unusual player behavior is detected, a manual review of the player account and activities is carried out by trained experts, who evaluate each case separately.
